In our teahouse we invite you to discover the world of Gong Fu Cha – one of the traditional Chinese methods of tea brewing that is all about attention, precision and experience. It is more than a technique; it is an art form, a meditative ritual, and a way to truly connect with tea.
What is Gong Fu Cha?
Gong Fu Cha literally means “tea made with skill and dedication.” It originates from the south of China, especially the provinces of Fujian and Guangdong, where people have been preparing tea for centuries using small teapots, short infusions, and great attention to every detail. Several small infusions are made in a small brewing vessel using the same leaves, allowing the flavour to unfold gradually. It is a refined way of brewing in which water, temperature, time, and movement come together to bring out the full essence of the tea. The leaves are treated with respect, and each infusion reveals a new nuance in aroma, taste, and mouthfeel. Calm, playful, and immersive – you brew the tea yourself, entirely in your own way
Whether you are curious to try your first Gong Fu Cha experience or already familiar with the ritual, you simply take a seat, choose a tea from our Gong Fu Cha menu, select the teaware you’d like to use, and we prepare everything for you.
Beginners receive a short introduction, while experienced tea drinkers can start right away in their own way. After that, you pour at your own pace and discover how the tea unfolds infusion after infusion. We remain available for any questions, but otherwise let you enjoy your own rhythm and moment.

Guided Gong Fu Cha session
We brew, you relax, and together we follow the rhythm of the tea.
During a guided session, we take you step by step into the world of Gong Fu Cha. We choose a tea that suits the moment, help you explore its aromas and colours, and pour several infusions for you.
You don’t need to do anything – simply taste, feel, and watch how the tea transforms. We can share stories, offer a brief explanation, or let the tea speak for itself — whatever suits you best.

• Duration: 30–45 minutes
• Suitable for 1–3 people
• Price: €15 + tea (~5–7 g, listed on the Gong Fu Cha menu)
• Includes guidance, multiple infusions, and time for questions

Please note! In a process of tea tasting, we enjoy the tea from different perspectives, using our multiple senses. Perceiving the aromas of tea compounds is an important part of the tasting experience. Therefore, it is not recommended to use perfumes - to avoid disturbing the natural tea scent.
