About the event
We’re delighted to welcome Sergey Shevelev, founder of Moychay Amsterdam, for a special tea tasting at our teahouse. Sergey has spent years traveling through Asia in search of beautiful teas and the people behind them. His tastings are relaxed, personal, and full of discovery.
On this Saturday afternoon, he will share a selection of teas he personally sourced. He will brew them with care in small rounds, allowing time to appreciate their character. Alongside the teas, he’ll offer stories and insights into tea as a living culture, shaped by places, people, tradition.
Engels’ Tuin, with its magnificent old trees and winding paths, will be our setting. If the weather allows, we will gather outside on the terrace. Otherwise, we'll move indoors into the warmth of the teahouse.
Price: €35 per person.
